A rootin' tootin' weekend and some sneak peek photies

Hi guys,

Had a great weekend with lots of wedding prep and glorious sunshine. We had our florists appointment with Roots, Fruits and Flowers in Glasgow http://www.rootsfruitsandflowers.com/ where I chose the flowers for my bouquet and a few other bits and pieces... it's going to amazing! One of my most exciting wedprep moments so far.

I have also started to arrange a special cheesey treat for our guests! Watch this space.

Giving up on naff website and embracing the BLOG!

Here is some useful information regarding accommodation at Comrie Croft.

ACCOMMODATION:
We'd love it if you would choose to stay with us at Comrie Croft for the weekend of our wedding. We have block booked the WHOLE SITE for the weekend so you need to arrange your room/pitch with us directly.

There are two types of accommodation available for the nights of the 17th and 18th of August 2012 (wedding on 18th); you can opt for comfortable (and cheerful) bunkhouse accommodation or bring a tent and camp in the green fields of the campsite.

Beds: Bunkhouse accommodation is £15 per person per night. Rooms are shared, ranging from 3 to 8 beds. You can share with partners, children or friends depending on your circumstances. The site sleeps around 70 in total... so its FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. Also, don't worry... you won't be randomly paired up with other guests (unless you fancy it) so just get in touch with me via email/phone if you want to book a room.

Camping: costs £9 per person per night for a pitch. The campsite has designated fire pits... which is AWESOME! There is also a communal teepee-type tent with a fire pit inside it, for rainy nights. The views across the valley are amazing, the air is fresh... what more could you ask for? There is even a 24hr tea and coffee shack on site and clean/well-maintain facilities. For more information about the site: http://www.comriecroft.com

Outside accommodation: If you require extra luxury or a bit of distance... there are a selection of hotels and b&b's locally. More information to follow.
